Suniva, Inc. Selects Laurens County for First South Carolina Operation

NAI Earle Furman brokers Hunter Garrett, CCIM, SIOR; John Staunton, SIOR; Josh Kenyon; Tom Daniel; and James Malm represented the landlord in the lease of a 621,468 SF industrial facility at Hunter Industrial Park in Laurens, South Carolina.

Suniva, Inc., a U.S.-owned and -operated solar cell manufacturer, selected the facility at 1200 Commerce Blvd. for its first South Carolina manufacturing operation. The company plans to invest $350 million and create 564 new jobs in Laurens County. The facility will produce advanced solar cells and support Suniva’s commitment to expanding domestic energy production. Operations are expected to begin in 2027.
